About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Professional to join our team in the Sutherland area. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, providing essential support for daily living.
  • Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Offer personal care, including assistance with mobility, therapy goals, and medication management.
  • Provide respite and emotional support, helping our customers to cope with the challenges of aging.
  • Support customers with complex care needs, including dementia, and provide tailored care solutions.

Requirements
  • Certificate III or above in Aged Care, Disability Support, or a related field.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care, manual handling, and medications.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our customers.
