A highly regarded and experienced research leader is sought to shape the strategic direction of research within a leading Australian university.

As the Associate Director for the Faculty's Research Office, you will play a pivotal role in creating a high-performing research environment that drives growth in funding, knowledge translation, and community impact.

  • You'll lead a talented team delivering researcher development, strategic initiatives, and expert support across all campuses.
  • You'll influence the future of research at scale by working closely with senior leaders to design and implement strategies that elevate research performance and unlock new opportunities.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring significant leadership experience in managing research centres or research administration within a university setting.

  • A solid understanding of Australian granting agencies, international funding opportunities, and policy frameworks shaping tertiary education and research is essential.
