Strategic Research Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced research professional to lead our efforts in shaping the strategic direction of research within a leading university.

As part of this role, you will play a pivotal part in creating a high-performing research environment that drives growth in funding, knowledge translation, and community impact.

  • Develop and implement strategies that elevate research performance and unlock new opportunities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A solid understanding of Australian granting agencies, international funding opportunities, and policy frameworks shaping tertiary education and research.
  • Proven experience in leading high-performing teams and fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and alignment with our values.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and negotiate successfully.
