As the leader for the Research Office, you will play a key role in creating a high-performing research environment that drives growth in funding, knowledge translation, and community impact.

About This Opportunity

You will lead a talented team delivering researcher development, strategic initiatives, and expert support across all campuses, influencing the future of research at scale.

This role involves being a trusted advisor to senior leaders, working closely to design and implement strategies that elevate research performance and unlock new opportunities.

You will oversee the delivery of seamless, client-focused research services, champion continuous improvement, and foster collaboration across teams and functions.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring significant leadership experience in managing research centres or research administration within an academic, government, or industry setting.

Strong project management skills, ability to work under pressure, quickly absorb complex information, and apply it to drive organisational success are essential.

A solid understanding of grant agencies, international funding opportunities, and policy frameworks shaping tertiary education and research is also required.

You will be a proven leader of high-performing teams, committed to fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and alignment with values.
