Senior Research Expert Role

This is a high-level position that requires someone who is passionate about cultivating talent, shaping research strategies, and partnering cross-functionally to embed cutting-edge AI into user-centric experiences.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of research experts.
  • Set research direction in alignment with the company's AI and product goals.
  • Guide technical strategy across foundational model development, experimentation, and evaluation.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure research translates into product impact.
  • Promote the company's AI initiatives through publications, talks, or open-source contributions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Leadership experience in research or applied science teams, with a strong track record of coaching and impact.
  • Expert knowledge and experience with Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Diffusion Models, Variational Autoencoders (VAEs), and Autoregressive Models.
  • Deeply skilled in Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and foundational model development and training —with hands-on experience.
  • Able to translate cutting-edge research into practical, scalable solutions.
  • Strategic thinking and scientific rigor to drive project direction and problem-solving.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in dynamic environments and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research trends and remain energized by continuous learning.
