About the Role

The City of Darwin is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the Planning and Place team in delivering city growth and development projects. As a key member of the Executive Manager Growth & Economic Development's team, you will be responsible for managing the team's strategic and operational activities to achieve economic and social benefits for the Darwin community.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in planning, placemaking, and design, with a minimum of five years' experience in a professional role and three years' experience in an operational leadership/supervisory role. A tertiary qualification in planning, design, or a relevant discipline is also required.

We are looking for a motivated and collaborative individual who can bring a team together to achieve common goals. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to understand and apply various legislations and policies. If you are passionate about making Darwin a great place to live and work, and enjoy coordinating complex situations, we encourage you to apply.
