Job Title: Community Engagement Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to lead our efforts in building strong relationships with diverse communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing initiatives that improve social, cultural, and financial wellbeing of our customers and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead our Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Communities Research Program and advisory committee
  • Co-design and implement social inclusion strategies and programs that improve accessibility
  • Build trusted relationships with CALD communities, leaders, service providers, and key stakeholders
  • Advocate for inclusive policies and practices across our networks
  • Develop frameworks to measure impact and share insights that shape future initiatives
Requirements
  • Strong community engagement and stakeholder relationship skills
  • Proven experience designing and delivering inclusion or equity-focused programs
  • Deep understanding of cultural diversity, accessibility, and participatory design approaches
  • Confidence influencing and advocating for change with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills that engage a wide range of audiences
