Role Overview

The Philanthropy Manager position is a vital component of our organisation's efforts to establish a strong presence in the philanthropic community and drive impact in youth mental health.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to join our team, where you will leverage your skills to maximise revenue across various channels, including trusts and foundations, individual giving, and gifts in will.

You'll be responsible for leading and implementing strategies to drive philanthropic income, relaunching and managing our major donor program, and developing compelling cases for support.

The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of income growth, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to bring teams together to drive cross-functional collaboration.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people across Australia and contribute to a culture of philanthropy within our organisation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and implement strategies to drive philanthropic income
  • Relaunch and manage our major donor program
  • Develop and manage donor pipelines and portfolios
  • Oversee and grow individual and regular giving programs
  • Develop compelling cases for support and cultivate a pipeline of high-value donors
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in major gift fundraising and/or trusts and foundations
  • Proven ability to bring teams together and drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Exceptional writing skills and experience developing persuasive funding proposals
  • Strong relationship management skills and confidence engaging high-value supporters
  • Financial literacy and experience managing budgets and income forecasts
