Job Opportunity

The Philanthropy Manager will play a pivotal role in driving our ambitious philanthropic strategy, fostering strong relationships with a connected and informed community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders across various campaigns.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive philanthropic growth and engagement.
  • Lead the management of a suite of campaigns, including regular giving, major gifts, bequests, and events.
  • Cultivate a strong professional network in the fundraising community.
  • Identify, solicit, close, and steward gifts from major prospects and capital campaign donors.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or post-graduate degree in philanthropy, marketing, public relations, communications, or related fields.
  • Strong leadership experience in philanthropy and fundraising.
  • Proven track record in managing a portfolio of major gift prospects and/or capital campaign prospects, gifts, and pledges.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport, interact effectively at all levels, and develop credible internal and external relationships and networks.

  • Current National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months).
