The position of Hotel Duty Manager is available at a prominent Gold Coast hotel. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strong work ethic and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and activities.
  • Conduct thorough cash reconciliations on a regular basis.
  • Supervise staff members by providing clear direction and guidance, fostering a positive team culture and promoting adherence to company standards.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service while adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Take ownership of outcomes and exhibit leadership qualities in managing events and contributing to marketing initiatives.
  • Be willing to adapt to changing circumstances and work a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays as required.

Qualifications and Skills

The successful applicant will have:

  • Proven experience in food and beverage management within a reputable hotel venue, with a minimum of two years' experience.
  • A solid understanding of gaming and TAB facilities.
  • Experience in event management and implementing marketing strategies is advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service skills, effective communication and professional presentation.
  • High level of trustworthiness, responsibility and flexibility to work varying shifts.
  • A valid Australian National Police Check obtained within the last three months.
