About the Opportunity:

This exciting new role involves working within our central Legal team to provide operational efficiency and support to the GM of Legal and wider team.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in similar administrative and/or operations roles within or supporting a legal team (Private practice or in-house).

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, draft correspondence, and handle general queries for the GM Legal and Legal Team.
  • Organise Legal Team meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and ensure smooth communication flow.
  • Identify and implement improvements in legal operations, including automation and reporting.
  • Handle invoice and expense processing, and generate legal cost reports using the MetLegal platform.
  • Assist with document signing and maintain the contracts register.
  • Coordinate travel, organise team events, seminars, off-sites, and manage catering logistics.

You'll be well-suited if you:

  • Have strong communication skills and ability to engage and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Are proficient in MS Office Suite and have previous experience in matter management platforms.
  • Have an interest in optimisation of technology and reporting.
  • Show initiative with a focus on efficient solutions.
  • Are reliable, trustworthy, and act with integrity.
