**Operational Efficiency Specialist Role Summary

As an operational efficiency specialist, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of a large-scale automated customer fulfillment centre.

  • Lead a team of technical specialists to drive process improvements and enhance system functionality.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.

This role requires strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and develop strategies to optimise processing equipment and control systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading problem-solving efforts to maximise site uptime and performance.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for automation and system enhancements to reduce downtime.
  • Coaching teams to ensure quality control across all operational areas meet set expectations.
  • Collaborating with teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives and operational practices.

Requirements for this role include:

  • A passionate leader with exceptional relationship-building capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma or lean processing principles ideally Green Belt (or Black Belt) Certified.
  • Previous experience in inventory and systems management, preferably in an automated operation.
  • Proven performance in using data insights to develop new strategies and results-oriented delivery in high-pressure environments.
