**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Financial Services Regulation Lead. As part of the APRA Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our organisation and contributing to the development and implementation of business plans that support APRA's strategic objectives.

**About the Role**

This exciting opportunity offers a chance to lead a high-performing team of professionals and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote financial stability and sound regulation practices. You will be responsible for leading and supporting the team to develop and implement prudential regulation systems and procedures that effectively manage risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes, fostering an inclusive environment that creates a sense of belonging and trust.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business plans that support APRA's strategic, business, and operational objectives and priorities.
  • Lead and support the development and implementation of prudential regulation systems and procedures that identify and resolve issues at an early stage.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in crisis management, risk assessment, and resolution planning.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Relevant experience in managing complex financial and operational workouts across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities, including the ability to organise and motivate others.
  • Fosters an inclusive environment that creates a sense of belonging and trust.
  • Experience in the financial services sector in a senior leadership capacity, with sound understanding of the principles of prudential regulation and financial sector risks.
  • Professional qualifications in relevant field or equivalent experience.

**Benefits**

We offer a competitive salary package, including:

  • A base salary of $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A range of benefits, including superannuation, annual leave, and flexible working arrangements.

**Estimated Salary:** $200,000 per annum.
