Job Role

A key responsibility of this position is to ensure the quality of projects by implementing and maintaining a site quality system that meets contractual agreements.

The successful candidate will support a continuous improvement culture, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

They will work closely with the site installation team and engineering to ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.

Regular inspections and tests will be conducted to ensure compliance with quality plans and customer requirements.

Accurate records of quality control processes, inspection results, and corrective actions taken will be maintained.

The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the qualification of welders and inspectors, as well as maintaining related documentation.

Additionally, they will participate in nonconformance and technical change requests, and drive completion of QA corrective actions.

This role requires a collaborative team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • University degree in QA/QC or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven track record of driving project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget
  • Previous experience in quality assurance for large hydro power projects or similar industries
  • Proficient technical and operational knowledge of QA/QC systems aligned with ISO:9001
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions:

  • Typical roster of 14 days in, 7 days out
  • Typical work schedule of 10 hours per day, 7 days a week
  • Camp accommodation provided
