Job Opportunity for a Senior Client Relationship Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as a Senior Client Relationship Manager.

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key mid-market accounts, ensuring that a high degree of quality customer service is provided to all clients at all times. This includes managing and developing client relationships, acting as the client's trusted advisor, pursuing new business development in conjunction with the Growth team, and expanding the breadth of Marsh products and services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring that a high degree of quality customer service is provided to all clients at all timesContribute towards the Company's profit objectives through the effective management and attainment of revenue and expense budgetsLead, plan and implement clear and effective renewal and broking strategies, ensuring renewal process and results meet client expectationsActively develop additional business from existing portfolioWork with and assist leadership to prepare, manage, implement and achieve State business plans, strategies and goalsMeet and exceed service standards agreed in client's service agreementsMaximise team and account profitability through the implementation of efficient and effective work practices, adequate client billing and sensible expense controlProvide clear and accurate delegation of key tasks to junior broking staff and supporting operations teamsConsistently meet and exceed revenue, expense and trading profit budgetsDevelop and maintain effective relationships with decision makers within your portfolio of clients whilst taking an active role as Senior Relationship Officer for your team's accounts

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience managing a portfolio of mid-large Corporate clients, creating and converting new business and growth opportunities
  • Extensive technical skills on key General Insurance classes including Industrial Special Risks, General Liability, Motor Fleet, Marine and Accident & Health lines
  • Strong business acumen including a well-rounded knowledge of general business functions including finance, management and risk
  • Excellent working relationships with insurers and underwriting partners
  • Exceptional communication, influencing/selling, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of client organisations including the 'C' Suite as well as internal stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills in prioritising work, multi-tasking and consistently meeting deadlines
