Strategic Pursuit Manager Opportunity

Ashurst is seeking a highly skilled Pursuit Manager to join our Global Pursuit Team in Sydney or Brisbane on a 9 month fixed term contract basis.

About the Role

As a Pursuit Manager, you will be responsible for the development of win strategies and the end-to-end pursuit management of our most strategic opportunities. You will work closely with the Global Pursuit Team, the wider Clients, Markets and Growth team, partners and other key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of bids and proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement win strategies for high-value and strategic pursuits
  • Manage and engage key stakeholders in leading pursuits/bids
  • Collaborate with the Global Pursuit Team and other stakeholders to deliver successful bids and proposals
  • Provide project management and stakeholder engagement skills to lead complex work-winning processes
  • Develop and articulate themes, differentiators and benefits to successfully win strategic pursuits

Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in a pursuit and bid role in legal, professional services or other relevant environments
  • Strong technical capability in leading pursuits, including stakeholder engagement and project management skills
  • Extensive experience developing win strategies and articulating themes, differentiators and benefits
  • Ability to effectively manage and engage key stakeholders in leading pursuits/bids
  • Highly competent user of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word and PowerPoint
