Position Overview

We are currently in search of Full-Time Speech Pathologists to enhance our multidisciplinary team. We welcome applications from new graduates, and part-time inquiries are also encouraged.

Role Responsibilities

As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality, family-centered Speech Pathology assessments and interventions for children with developmental challenges or disabilities.
  • Maintaining professional documentation for interventions and support.
  • Providing timely consultancy to team members, families, and external agencies.
  • Collaborating with families and stakeholders to align Speech Pathology interventions with the child's goals.
  • Completing necessary paperwork for funding bodies promptly.
  • Working closely with clients, families, group homes, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a person-centered approach.
  • Participating in ongoing education to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Staying informed about the requirements set by funding bodies.
  • Meeting billable targets.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals who can work autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to evidence-based practices. While time management and organizational skills will develop with experience, those who can demonstrate these abilities will stand out.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
  • CPSP status with Speech Pathology Australia (both provisional and full CPSP status accepted)
  • Completion certificate for NDIS Worker Orientation module
  • Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • NDIS worker screening clearance
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle for home and community visits
  • Current first aid certification (including CPR)
