Role Responsibilities

At Early Links, we emphasize evidence-based practices and remain current with the latest advancements in the field. Our services include:

Key Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality, family-centered Speech Pathology assessments, interventions, and support for children facing developmental challenges or disabilities.
  • Prepare professional documentation for interventions and support.
  • Offer timely consultancy to team members, families, and external agencies.
  • Engage with families and stakeholders regarding the child's objectives and the role of Speech Pathology in achieving these goals.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for funding bodies promptly.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, group homes, educational institutions, and interdisciplinary health teams, focusing on person-centered practices that respect individual needs and aspirations.
  • Maintain high clinical standards through ongoing education and skill enhancement.
  • Stay informed about professional knowledge and procedures required by funding organizations.
  • Meet billable service targets.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking individuals who can work autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to evidence-based practices. While time management and organizational skills will develop with experience, those who can demonstrate these abilities will stand out.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
  • CPSP status with Speech Pathology Australia (both provisional and full status accepted)
  • Completion certificate for NDIS Worker Orientation module
  • Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Current Working with Children check
  • NDIS worker screening clearance
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for home, center, and school visits
  • Current first aid certification (including CPR)
