About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Key Worker to join our team at Everyday Independence. As a Key Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering interventions to NDIS participants, specifically children aged 0-8, and their families in Maitland and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapy and support services to children and their families in diverse settings, including homes, schools, and community centers.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to support children's goals and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Educators, to provide comprehensive support services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with participants, their families, and support networks.
  • Document and bill for services through our online participant management system.

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and registration (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech Pathologist, or Educator).
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with children (aged 0-8) and their families.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with disability.
  • Positive and flexible approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth.
  • Valid Australian drivers license.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • Working with Childrens Check.
