About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Intervention Specialist to join our team at Everyday Independence. As a Key Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering interventions to NDIS participants (specifically children aged 0-8) and their families, leading to positive, life-changing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapy sessions in diverse settings, including homes, schools, and community centers
  • Conduct assessments and develop personalized plans to support children's development
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Educators
  • Provide coaching and support to parents and caregivers to help them navigate the NDIS system
  • Document and bill for sessions through our online participant management system

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and registration (e.g. Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, or Education)
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with children (aged 0-8) and their families
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with disability
  • A positive and flexible approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth
  • A valid Australian driver's license
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children's Check
