Achieving Commercial ExcellenceWe are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Commercial Co-Founder.
This is a Day 1 Co-Founder role aligned with the Antler VC program, funded from Day 1.
Main Responsibilities:- Revenue Generation: Develop and execute a sales strategy that drives revenue growth from inception
- Market Expansion: Establish us as a leading provider of inspection technology in Australia
- Strategic Partnerships: Build strong relationships with major utilities, contractors, and industry stakeholders
- Business Optimization: Optimize pricing, service delivery, and customer success strategies
- Talent Management: Recruit and lead commercial, sales, and customer success teams
- Fundraising: Partner with the technical co-founder in Pre-Seed, Series A, and beyond funding rounds
- Commercial Acumen (Essential):
- 5+ years proven commercial leadership with demonstrable revenue growth
- B2B enterprise sales experience with complex, high-value client relationships
- Business development expertise including partnerships, market expansion, pricing strategy
- Track record of building and scaling commercial teams
- Startup Experience (Desirable):
- Previous startup founder or early-stage commercial leadership (Seed through Series B)
- Experience navigating rapid growth phases and go-to-market challenges
- Comfortable with ambiguity, resource constraints, and fast iteration
- Industry Knowledge (Desirable):
- Direct experience in utility/energy sector - powerline maintenance, grid operations, infrastructure inspection
- Established network within Australian utilities
- Understanding of utility procurement processes and regulatory environment
- Experience with safety-critical B2B technology solutions
- Personal financial runway to be a co-founder of a startup
