Australian War Memorial seeks a highly skilled Exhibition Team Leader to lead the development and management of our galleries and exhibitions program.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work directly with the Exhibitions Manager and EL2 Head, Exhibitions to provide project management and delivery of interpretive exhibition design projects. This includes the Australian War Memorial Gallery Development project.

Main Responsibilities

  • Exercise independence and accountability in the application of practices and procedures.
  • Set individual priorities and manage workflows as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide technical advice and expertise in relation to complex issues of exhibition design and development.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in delivery of interpretative exhibition design projects within the museum or art gallery sector.
  • Thorough understanding and appreciation of contemporary museum practices.
  • High-level communication and liaison skills.

The Exhibition Team Leader will enjoy a competitive salary of $110,000 - $130,000 per annum, depending on experience.
