Memorial Commemoration Project Coordinator

The Australian War Memorial's Events and Ceremonies team is seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to coordinate and oversee the planning and delivery of commemorative events. This role involves working both individually and as part of a team, with guidance from senior members and managers.
Key responsibilities include coordinating ceremonial and event projects, managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and communication skills, with attention to detail and experience in project management principles.
The position requires working outside core business hours, including weekends, public holidays, and school holidays as needed. Staff are also required to work during peak periods, such as March, April, October, and November, for the preparations and delivery of national commemorations.
In addition, manual handling is a requirement of this position. The estimated salary range for this role is between $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on location and level of experience.
