Job Description

This role requires a skilled Facilities Operations Manager to oversee maintenance issues within the Hotel, ensuring an excellent guest experience. The ideal candidate will have previous duty technician experience, a customer-focused attitude, and a high standard of grooming and presentation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Daily checks, equipment repairs, and project coordination to deliver exceptional results.
  • Assisting the Chief Engineer with managing projects, including plant and equipment maintenance, refrigeration, plumbing, water treatment, electrical, and life safety systems.
  • Managing contractor work requests, inductions, and follow-ups on assigned tasks.
  • Implementing risk management and environmental impact strategies effectively.
  • Training and developing members of the Engineering team.
  • Prioritizing job requests, assigning tasks, and following up on completed jobs as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A friendly, customer-focused attitude with a drive to provide total customer satisfaction.
  • Previous duty technician experience.
  • A high standard of grooming and presentation.
  • The ability and flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including early mornings and weekends.
