The Opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for effectively managing and leading a team to deliver cleaning services at Coles in VIC, WA, SA, and TAS.

You will work closely with your team to build strong relationships with our partner and provide exceptional service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking the general direction and supervision of the Cleaning Team members on shift
  • Participating in induction and training of new Team Members
  • Overseeing the maintenance of food safety and hygiene standards across all areas of the DC, while adhering to all Health and Safety procedures
  • Ensuring the correct use of chemicals, equipment, and machinery by all team members
  • Developing strong working relationships and a positive team environment
  • Working with team members to ensure work schedules are completed to quality standards, within required time frames

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience supervising cleaning team members, including roster management, ideally in the food service industry or commercial supply chain environment
  • A current driver's license and vehicle (desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate to advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • The ability to work flexible hours when required

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $95,000 per annum, depending on experience.
