About the Role

The Regional Sales Manager will lead and oversee Mitsubishi Motors Australia Ltd's sales efforts for both regional and metropolitan areas within South Australia. This role will set and achieve sales targets, develop and execute sales strategies, and coach a team of Area Sales Managers and Remote Dealer Specialists to build their capability and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of Area Sales Managers and Remote Dealer Specialists, supporting their growth and development through tailored coaching, ongoing training, and mentorship.
  • Dealer Network Development: Build true Business Partner relationships with our SA/NT Mitsubishi Dealer Network.
  • Sales Performance: Assist in the development of plans and activities to support dealers in achieving key sales performance objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and foster positive stakeholder relationships with internal colleagues, regional offices, and dealer personnel.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor dealership KPIs and provide recommendations to enhance performance and effectiveness with robust processes and appropriate support.
  • Product Training: Facilitate new product and accessory training, review stock provision, and monitor and report on MMAL requirements within dealer franchise agreements.
Requirements
  • Business Development Experience: Extensive experience in a Business Development role.
  • Strategic Approach: Demonstrated strategic and motivated approach to achieving results and setting KPIs.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop positive relationships and influence others.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and experience developing and motivating a sales team towards shared goals.
