About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and supportive individual to join our team as a Home Care Employee. As a Home Care Employee, you will be responsible for providing individualized care to our elderly clients, empowering them to live independently and safely in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing meal assistance, including shopping, meal preparation, and help with eating
  • Transporting and accompanying clients to appointments and social activities
  • Offering social support and engaging clients in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being
  • Providing personal care, including showering, bathing, and general self-care duties
  • Assisting with domestic tasks, such as light household cleaning

Requirements:

  • Certificate 3 in Aged or Individual Support, Community Services, and Disability
  • Medication competency (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
  • Current driver's license and car with full comprehensive insurance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and trustworthy
