Billing and Invoicing Specialist Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Billing and Invoicing Specialist to join our Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing excellent support in pre-billing, billing, client reporting, and administration.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing all aspects of invoicing, including write-offs, cancellations, and dispute resolution. They will also be responsible for loading invoices via ebilling databases, maintaining, tracking, and reporting on ebilling uploads and issues.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work through high volumes with great accuracy, especially at month-end. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a willingness to take on any task with flexibility, and intermediate MS Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of invoicing, including write-offs, cancellations, and dispute resolution.
  • Loading invoices via ebilling databases.
  • Maintaining, tracking, and reporting on ebilling uploads and issues.
  • Providing support to Partners and Practice Administrators with day-to-day billing queries and requests.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a billing role within a professional services environment.
  • High volume transaction handling with great accuracy and diligence.
  • Experience with Aderant Expert or similar Practice Management System.
  • Ebilling portals and LEDES import files expertise (advantageous).
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work through high volumes with great accuracy, especially at month-end.
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to take on any task with flexibility.
