About This Role:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our South-Western Sydney site during a period of significant growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless branch operations, guaranteeing that production teams meet client expectations.
  • Organize and manage the yard, ensuring schedules are communicated to yard hands efficiently.
  • Plan and coordinate pick-ups and drop-offs in collaboration with the logistics team.
  • Oversee services and repairs, maintaining the efficiency of equipment and machinery.
  • Liaise with the fleet, ensuring optimal performance and coordination.
  • Proactively engage in business development activities to capitalize on the ongoing growth.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team, demonstrating strong leadership qualities.
  • Maintain a zero-harm workplace culture.

Requirements:

  • A minimum requirement is a valid HR License; an HC license is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience in transport, trucking, or logistics is essential.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer literacy with proficiency in Outlook and Teams
