About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities and revenue growth from within a portfolio of designated key customers within a defined territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate Safety Leadership by leading and contributing to our safety culture.
- Actively contribute to our company strategy to grow revenue by deeply understanding the market and customer needs, while delivering effective solutions.
- Target and engage with key customers and decision makers to drive business growth.
- Ensure all solutions presented to customers reflect commercially favourable terms and conditions and are consistent with our strategic plan.
- Drive and pursue all new business / sales leads and opportunities.
- Ensure the team sells our value proposition, using it as a key differentiator across all customer portfolios.
- Seek out intelligence about business trends in the market and competitor activities.
- Build and maintain strong business partner relationships that will convert to long term revenue benefits.
Requirements:
- Ability to provide profitable solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Excellent business planning, strategy development and communication skills.
- Excellent leadership, planning, time and priority management skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work within a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Relevant and proven successful experience in sales or similar role.
- High level of negotiation skills.
- Sound Business Acumen.
