
Commercial Channel Leader

As a Field Sales Manager, you will lead a high-performing team across Victoria, with a strong focus on both on and off-premise channels. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring area managers, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with the team to drive state-based initiatives. This role combines hands-on fieldwork with strategic oversight, including customer engagement, business development, and trade execution.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a Field Sales Manager or similar leadership position within the FMCG or alcohol sector. They will have a solid understanding of both the on- and off-premise landscapes, with particular strength or interest in developing on-premise relationships. Proven experience coaching and mentoring diverse teams is essential, along with the ability to identify blind spots, unlock commercial opportunities, and lead by example in the field.
- Candidate should have a flexible, empathetic leadership style paired with strong commercial acumen and a readiness to engage with customers outside standard hours.
- They will be comfortable using data to inform decisions, manage budgets, and contribute to state P&L outcomes, while also being highly effective in customer-facing environments.
