Senior Contracts Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a critical role in managing the entire lifecycle of contracts, ensuring legal and commercial compliance, mitigating risks, and fostering positive relationships between clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Review, negotiate, and amend contracts to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress and financial performance to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Procurement and Delivery: Oversee project start-up, procurement, delivery, and project close-out processes to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Progress Claims: Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to clients, ensuring accurate and compliant submissions.
  • Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractors from onboarding to claim assessments, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Commissioning Activities: Monitor commissioning activities, including documentation, to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the project team to ensure adherence to procedures, policies, and contractual obligations.
  • Commercial Strategy: Contribute to the project commercial strategy and drive commercial outcomes to maximize business value.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Contract Law and Regulatory Compliance: Minimum 6 years demonstrated experience in contract management, with knowledge of contract law and regulatory compliance.
  • Project Administration and Control: Working knowledge of project administration and project control principles and practices.
  • Analytical and Negotiation Skills: Analytical skills and high attention to detail, with negotiation, conflict, and influencing skills to effectively manage stakeholder relationships.
  • MS Office Suite and Excel: Proficient in the MS Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
