Job Title: Mental Health Nurse

Are you a skilled mental health nurse seeking a new challenge? We are looking for experienced professionals to join our network of public hospitals and health services across regional and remote Western Australia.

  • You will promote the health and well-being of children, families, and specific community groups using various health promotion/education and support strategies focusing on the social determinants of health.
  • Choose where you want to work and be allocated to sites in your preferred region, supporting communities living in regional and remote WA.

You will have the opportunity to choose short or long fixed-term opportunities, work a rotating 24/7 roster, and be rewarded with excellent remuneration + penalty rates + bonuses.

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years full-time post-graduate experience (3-4 years' experience is preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years background in Mental Health Nursing Care
  • Current AHPRA Registration; unrestricted and unconditional
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Must be able to commit to a minimum of 8 weeks
  • Short and long fixed-term contracts available - your choice
  • Successful WA Working with Children Check
  • Successful National Police Check
  • Must be able to provide two recent work-related references (previous line manager/leader)
