We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our growing business. This position will require you to oversee the negotiation, establishment, and management of multiple contracts related to the Company's projects. This is a corporate position reporting directly to the Managing Director and working at our head office, located in Applecross.

Your Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities:

- Identify, document, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks on projects.
- Develop and document pre-contract contractual and commercial positions for tenders.
- Negotiate and document contract terms upstream and downstream.
- Review tenders before submission.
- Maintain and improve contract management systems and train employees in their use.
- Mentor and assist contract administrators and project managers on contractual and commercial matters.
- Resolve complex contractual and commercial issues, engaging external legal support when necessary.
- Participate in monthly project reviews from a contractual and commercial perspective.
- Contribute to overall business management as part of the senior management team.

About you:

- Work independently with confidence and pragmatism.
- Desire to leverage your skills to make a positive impact.
- Mentor contract administration professionals at all levels.
- Hold tertiary qualifications in construction management, engineering, or similar.
- Have at least 10 years of relevant experience in Construction, preferably in the Mining Industry.
- Excel in written contractual communication, verbal negotiation, and project-level interactions.
- Familiar with project management software like Microsoft Project and Primavera.
- Experience with Aconex or similar tools is advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
