Job Title:

CSSD Assistant

Key Responsibilities
  • Process instruments, trays, and equipment in a timely manner.
  • Work across various allocated areas in the CSSD and maintain high operational standards.
  • Ensure consistency and continuous workflow between Operating Theatre areas and CSSD.
  • Assist in day-to-day coordination of CSSD activities.
  • Adhere to equipment care, handling, and re-processing minimum requirements.
  • Follow sterilization standards and relevant legislation affecting practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Positive, collaborative attitude and ability to work independently as required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge of AS 5369:2023 principles.
