Our client is an international leader in the field of optics. They offer market leading products in the Optics and Medical Technology industries.

**About the Role**

This is a unique opportunity to be an integral part of the Microscopy division.
***Your excellent communication, administration and customer service skills will be utilized as you undertake multiple tasks providing dedicated support to customers and the sales team. You will handle sale leads, opportunities, quotes, tenders, orders and be a specialist in your product.

**Key Competencies**
- Support the sales team by handling enquiries and distributing leads
- Prepare quotations and orders based on customer requirements
- Manage leads and opportunities in SAP/CRM
- Arrange shipment, installation and after sales service information
- Maintain and manage shipment and movement of demonstration equipment
- Coordinating and administrating tenders
- Work with Sales and Marketing to develop, implement and coordinate campaigns, events and newsletters
- Cross-functional collaboration to distribute technical material, brochures, presentations, editorials and training material
- Be responsible for updating product & technical knowledge through self-study using product literature to become a product specialist
- Arrange samples and loan products for customers

**About You**
- 2-3 years’ experience in a microscopy field (highly regarded)
- Relevant scientific qualification (desirable)
- Experience using SAP and CRM systems (desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Well established interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
- Aptitude for learning with strong analytical and process-oriented skills
- Ability to work independently within a team environment, organise and manage multiple tasks and set priorities to meet deadlines
