Job Overview:
The Senior Project Manager will lead and manage organization-wide projects, working closely with regional teams to deliver alignment, consistency, and impact within agreed timescales and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project management plans, identifying dependencies, resources, and timeframes required for successful project completion.
- Collaborate with colleagues to embed robust project management principles across the organization.
- Act as a project management coach and advisor for team members and senior colleagues.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, including legal, data privacy, and regulatory compliance risks.
- Prepare project documentation, including governance/Board level reports, status reports, risks, and presentations.
- Monitor progress, identify emerging issues, and problem solve while ensuring adherence to approval processes and program-agreed procedures.
- Use relationships as a primary tool to progress project delivery and achieve the best outcomes with stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively to support other areas of the organization as needed.
- Apply a change management methodology to create a strategy for supporting adoption of changes required by projects or initiatives.
- Assess the change impact, conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
- Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.
Requirements:
- A recognized project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMP, AMP).
- Understanding and awareness of different organizational development and change management models and approaches.
- At least 5 years of experience in a PMO within a large, complex organization.
- Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry.
- Experience in a global organization is preferred.
- Experience in the education sector is preferred.
About You:
