About The Positions:
We are seeking two Event Management Specialists to join our team, responsible for orchestrating a variety of events at Kangan Institute. One position will concentrate on internal events, while the other will focus on external engagements, both playing a crucial role in the successful execution of numerous events throughout Victoria.
External Events Responsibilities:
- Coordinate external events such as student graduations, awards ceremonies, campus open nights, fashion shows, expos, and trade exhibitions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan, design, and execute events within budgetary constraints.
- Maintain a comprehensive event calendar and assist in resource allocation in partnership with relevant teams.
- Work alongside the Campaign Team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies for events that align with the overall business objectives.
- Supervise an Event Coordinator while promoting a positive team culture.
Internal Events Responsibilities:
- Organize internal events such as staff conferences, all-staff meetings, celebrations (e.g., NAIDOC Week, Reconciliation Week), and staff recognition events.
- Engage with internal partners to plan and deliver internal events that reflect the corporate strategy and desired culture.
- Maintain an internal events calendar and assist in resource allocation with relevant teams.
- Foster a positive atmosphere within the team and the broader portfolio.
Both roles will require flexibility to assist with event setup and coordination outside of standard working hours, including weekends as necessary.
