About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fatigue and Safety Risk Advisor to join our team at Linfox. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to manage driver fatigue and promote a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with operational leaders to develop and manage driver fatigue events.
  • Develop and implement campaigns and awareness strategies to combat fatigue events and promote safe working practices.
  • Coach and mentor leaders through site visits, facilitated training, and workshops.
  • Support fatigue projects through fatigue event reporting and leveraging the Driver Fatigue Impairment Field Study.
  • Measure and report on performance, trends, and outcomes of fatigue management campaigns and awareness trainings.

Requirements

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in a Safety, Occupational Health, Risk, or Fatigue Management related discipline.
  • Experience in developing fatigue management strategies and programs.
  • Experience in facilitating training and workshops with managers and operational personnel.
  • Ability to develop training and support materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop trusted relationships with a diverse range of internal stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of work health and safety legislation.
  • Ability to develop and present results, plans, and updates to leadership teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Commitment to personal development through formal education or other training programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
