The role is to coordinate the implementation of overall Children's Ministries and Women's Ministries strategy for a Christian organisation. This will involve collaboration with stakeholders across various regions to promote and facilitate pastoral care, spiritual development, and utilisation of spiritual gifts.
- Pastoral care of women and children
- Spiritual development of children ages birth to 14
- Develop and utilise the spiritual gifts of Adventist women in pursuit of the church mission
- Coordinate the implementation of Children's Ministries and Women's Ministries strategy
- Collaborate with stakeholders across regions to promote and facilitate pastoral care, spiritual development, and utilisation of spiritual gifts
- Develop and implement strategies to nurture and disciple children and empower women
- Ensure effective communication and cross-cultural relations
- Contribute to the Ministry and Strategy team at the head office
- Practising baptised member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with strong commitment to the Church and its mission
- Tertiary qualifications in theology, education, or related field
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience in ministries, specialising in children and/or women
- Comprehensive background in nurturing and discipling children and commitment to pastoral care of women
- Strategic thinker with experience planning and implementing ministry initiatives
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication abilities, with effective presentation skills
- Passion for evangelism, discipleship, and empowerment of women and children
- Current working with children check clearance for relevant jurisdiction
