We are seeking a qualified Coordinator to lead our Outside of School Hours Care team.

The Coordinator will be responsible for building a strong community culture in the centre and school, liaising with parents and developing staff. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.
  • Providing consistent and visible leadership in WH&S behaviours and actions within the team.
  • Contributing to the development and evaluation and improvements to the service.
  • Commitment to providing and maintaining a safe and supportive work environment that is inclusive of all staff.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services and/or OSHC Services.
  • Excellent knowledge of the NQS and My Time Our Place Framework.
  • Previous OSHC leadership experience as a Coordinator.
  • Approved child protection clearance.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of governance principles and able to model best practice.
  • Able to establish, foster and nurture collaborative partnerships with families and our local communities.
  • Understanding of diversity and inclusive practice.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
