Community Outreach Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Community Development Worker to provide harm reduction services and support.
Main Responsibilities- Operate outreach programs to deliver equipment, information, and education to vulnerable populations.
- Provide referrals, linkages, and advocacy to facilitate access to health and community services.
- Develop relationships with service users, carers, clinicians, and community agencies to enhance collaboration and coordination.
- Bridge gaps in healthcare by offering tailored support and resources to marginalized groups.
This position plays a critical role in reducing health inequities by promoting harm reduction principles and practices.
Key Requirements- Degree in AOD, Community Development, Social Work, or relevant field (Cert IV+ with 2 years' experience) - lived experience highly valued.
- In-depth knowledge of health and social issues affecting PWUD, including harm reduction strategies.
- Experience engaging respectfully with diverse populations and fostering effective partnerships.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
