With a commitment to innovation and excellence, ASI is dedicated to providing its students and clients with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities to succeed in the dynamic world of fashion.

Founded in 2010, Australian Style Institute began in Melbourne and now delivers training across Australia and NZ, with students in 20+ countries. While we have a long-standing track record of exceptional product delivery and 5 star reviews, we're driven by new growth opportunities that will see us into the future.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, the Student & Community Coordinator, will be the connector between our student community, Student Mentors and contributors, and our Sales & Marketing teams. This role is perfect for someone who is highly organised, confident, ambitious and passionate about building relationships, creating opportunities, and ensuring our students feel supported at every step of their journey.

You'll manage student communications, coordinate events, share exclusive resources, and identify opportunities for students to grow within ASI's courses. Whether it's curating content, coordinating events, or being the go-to contact for our community, you'll be a key player in delivering the education experience we're known for. The role is ideal for someone looking for a level of flexibility, with the opportunity to work from home when suitable.

About you:

You're self-motivated, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, fashion-forward environment. You love connecting with people, finding solutions, and creating memorable experiences. You're detail-oriented and confident, you can juggle multiple projects, from organising events to curating resources, all while keeping the student community at the heart of everything you do. You're equally comfortable picking up the phone to support an enquiry, through to engaging with students and troubleshooting student resources to ensure a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement & Support

  • Be the primary point of contact for current ASI students via email, phone, our private Facebook group and learning platform.
  • Foster meaningful connections and uphold ASI's high standard of care for each student.
  • Share student opportunities, resources, and industry updates with the team and relevant channels.
  • Actively engage on Instagram and within the wider fashion and design community, championing our students' work.

Events & Project Coordination

  • Plan and manage student events, including workshops, virtual and in-person training, and ASI Awards.
  • Coordinate vendors, event packs, resources, crew, and schedules, ensuring seamless delivery.
  • Track RSVPs and student attendance, providing accurate event reporting.

Content & Resource Management

  • Upload, manage, and distribute student resources through Kajabi and other platforms.
  • Research trends in education, fashion, and styling to ideate and curate engaging resources.
  • Ensure content remains up to date and functional (checking links, replacing outdated assets).

Administration Support

  • Confidently promote ASI courses through supporting the sales team through outbound calls, enquiry follow-ups, and identifying student upgrade opportunities.
  • Report on any new insights and feedback from students to help improve our offerings and highlight missed opportunities.
  • Report on student engagement, feedback, and progress to inform growth strategies.
  • Outreach for new opportunities and resources for students.
  • Have a deep understanding of the student experience and facilitate conversations that help students experience further learning with ASI.

Key Skills:

  • 2–3 years' experience in a similar role (community management, events, marketing, or administration).
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience in event coordination and project management, managing multiple moving parts with confidence.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms such as CRM systems, social media, and preferably LMS platforms.
  • Comfortable with lead support and nurturing, including calls and spotting growth opportunities.
  • Trend-aware and resourceful, able to research, curate, and create content that keeps our community engaged and inspired.
  • Qualifications in business administration, marketing, or communications are highly regarded.
