Job Title:

Technical Officer Position in Haematology/Blood Bank

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Officer to join our Haematology/Blood Bank teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing blood samples and working collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process blood samples for Haematology and Blood Bank tests in accordance with laboratory method manuals.
  • Work under the supervision of Haematologists and Senior Hospital Scientists.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals.
  • Utilize laboratory computer systems efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Associate Diploma of Health Sciences (Pathology Techniques) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a Haematology laboratory.
  • Experience working in a Blood Bank laboratory.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience with laboratory computer systems.
