A Medical Laboratory Technologist is needed to work in the Haematology laboratory at a NSW Health facility.
About the RoleThe hospital laboratory serves a wide community with specialties including trauma, obstetrics, cardiology, transplant, haematology and oncology for all ages. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Haematology, you will be part of a dynamic team of technicians and scientists who use professional values to serve our community.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various laboratory investigations and tests (manual and automated) by applying established methods and procedures.
- Undertake other laboratory duties including preparation of materials and the maintenance of equipment according to established laboratory processes and protocols.

- Diploma in Laboratory Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution with relevant subjects.

- Customer-focused approach with well-developed interpersonal skills and good communication.
