About This Leadership Position
- We are seeking a Laboratory Manager to join our team in the dynamic Haematology Laboratory at a respected healthcare institution.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the laboratory, providing leadership and guidance to staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in Science or Medical Laboratory Science is essential
- The ideal candidate will have proven leadership and operational management skills and experience
- Extensive experience in Haematology with demonstrated understanding of Routine Haematology, Coagulation, Flow Cytometry and Morphology is required
- Experience with quality improvement and risk management is also necessary
- Strategic thinking and professional networks in a pathology specialty relevant to the laboratory are highly valued
