Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Technical Officer to join our Haematology / Blood Bank teams. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in laboratory settings and strong communication skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Process blood samples for Haematology and Blood Bank tests in accordance with the laboratory's method manuals under the supervision of the Haematologists and Senior Hospital Scientist.
  • Work effectively with colleagues to ensure efficient operations, meeting deadlines and achieving quality results.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to strict quality control procedures.
Requirements
  • A relevant Associate Diploma or equivalent qualification in Health Sciences.
  • Significant experience working in a Haematology laboratory and/or Blood Bank environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with others.
  • Familiarity with laboratory computer systems and technology.
