About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICT professional to join our team at Davidson as a Group ICT Lead. This is a pivotal role that requires a strong technical background, business acumen, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to ICT staff and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business teams to translate technical requirements into business solutions.
  • Manage ICT projects and ensure successful implementation and adoption.
  • Oversee business acquisition and integration activities, including risk assessments and migrations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and reports.
  • Assist in enhancing security controls and responding to infrastructure and cyber incidents.
  • Support the Group CIO with technology planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate and monitor new technologies for potential business benefits.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior ICT Engineer role, ideally within a medium to large organization (300+ staff).
  • Strong technical expertise in Microsoft on-premises and cloud environments, including server, desktop, network, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with a broad range of ICT systems and modern technology-agnostic solutions.
  • Formal IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft, cloud, networking), with security-related certifications viewed favorably.
  • Proven leadership in ICT infrastructure projects, focusing on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Eligible for NV1 Security Clearance.
  • Willingness to obtain a firearms license (facilitated by the organization).
