Project Development Manager Job Overview

As a seasoned professional in capital project management, you will lead the delivery of complex engineering projects from conception to completion.

This role offers the chance to shape project planning and execution strategies that ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery, including scope definition, technical specification development, procurement, contractor management, commissioning, and handover.
  • Coordinate multiple concurrent projects, balancing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Develop clear and detailed project documentation, including scopes, technical specifications, and reports.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across various sites.
  • Provide on-site leadership for contractors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Support procurement processes and navigate internal systems to secure optimal project outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project planning, delivery, and safety practices.
About You
  • Degree qualified in Engineering (Mechanical, Process or Chemical related disciplines).
  • Technical expertise applicable to supply chain networks.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects, related to process improvements or infrastructure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership skills to guide contractors and ensure safe, efficient project delivery.
  • Flexible, proactive, and willing to adapt to new project areas.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, procurement processes, and project management tools.
