About the Role
  • This role oversees end-to-end project delivery, ensuring safety, compliance, cost-efficiency and operational performance are met or exceeded.
  • The position offers variety, responsibility and travel opportunities while being based in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple large-scale capital projects from scoping to commissioning.
  • Develop and manage annual capital expenditure programs.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering and maintenance teams across several manufacturing sites.
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to reduce downtime.
  • Ensure legislative compliance across multi-state operations.
  • Build strong relationships with site teams, contractors and stakeholders for successful project outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience managing capital projects in a food or FMCG setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CapEx planning, cost control and continuous improvement tools.
  • High-level problem-solving, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
  • A Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree is preferred.
